Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Architect: Arne Jacobsen
Completed: 1936

Beautiful in its simplicity, this modernist masterpiece by Arne Jacobsen has endured remarkably well, considering it's been around since the mid-1930s.

The single-storey rectangular building is covered with white tiles in vertical orientation. There are two garage doors, so that cars can be driven through the garage on the north side.
The round, mushroom-shaped canopy with its single central column of concrete is white on its underside and is illuminated by three lights above the entrance of the building and four lights on the center column.
