Gang Design creates Maria chandelier
Polish firm Gang Design has created the Maria chandelier.
The design of the chandelier is inspired by the Art Deco period. The suspended luminaire consists of a central light bulb which is encompassed by glass test tubes. The chandelier can be used with a single or a double row of test tubes in varying sizes. The tubes are closed in a pair of rings made of plywood.
The luminaire offers options of a host of configurations to meet individual tastes of the users. The glass tubes constituting the piece can be left empty or can be filled with various items including flowers, coloured water, sand, or beads to amplify the aesthetics.
