Four Seasons opens new hotel in Shanghai
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has opened a new hotel called Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, in Shanghai, which is the second Four Seasons hotel in the city, and the second of three Four Seasons openings in China in 2012.
Depicting the Golden Age of Shanghai during the 1920s and 30s Art Deco period, the new four seasons hotel features elegant art-inspired interiors and designs.
Located at the newly-built, 55 storied 21st Century Tower of Pudong’s Lujiazhui business district, the Four Seasons Hotel Pudong features 187 rooms and suites with residential-style private bar. It also features a spacious dining area called Shàng-Xí, with 22 seats for public dining along with five private rooms, each interpreting a semi-precious stone like Pearl, Amber, Purple Jade, Agate and Jade.
The first floor, featuring a restaurant called Camelia with 162 indoor seating, offers both indoor and outdoor dining. A private dining room for up to 12 guests, wine bar and lounge, is also featured in Camelia.
The hotel offers a spa called Flare Spa, featuring two VIP suites among its six treatment rooms, a 24-hour fitness studio and an 18-metre indoor lap pool. The hotel also features 425-square metre ballroom with 20 tables for weddings and reception, 8,611 square feet of meeting space, an executive club with 54 indoor seating, a private boardroom and a dedicated concierge and four salons to provide comfort and convenience to the guests.
