Fountain Residential Partners breaks ground on new student housing at UNT


A collaboration of Fountain Residential Partners and Crosswind Development Partners has broken ground on a student housing named 33 North in the Denton market directly adjacent to The University of North Texas (UNT) in the US.


The five-storey facility has been designed by Architecture Demarest and will be developed by KWA Builders. It will house 139 units and will comprise a bed capacity of 427. It will feature apartment homes consisting of one, two, three, or four bedrooms. The units will sport queen sized pillow-top beds, granite countertops, as well as appliances in stainless steel. The apartments will also be equipped with simulated wood flooring, and a premium furniture package including 50" flatscreen TVs in the living areas.

33 North will provide broadband and wireless internet access, including extended cable TV. It will also offer controlled parking in an internal parking garage, and will be designed to offer views of the surrounding campus.

Among various other amenities of the property include a plush urban clubhouse, study room, modern cardio theatre fitness centre, onsite leasing office, an infinity pool, and outdoor entertainment deck.

The building is expected to be ready for occupancy by 2013 end.
