Feadship unveils 88m ‘Musashi’ yacht

The Dutch yacht builder Feadship has launched 88m megayacht named ‘Musashi’, which is touted as the shipyard’s largest yacht.

‘Musashi’ is the second yacht to be launched in Feadship’s XL custom yacht series. The yacht’s steel hull was constructed by Feadship’s dedicated hull-building facility in Papendrecht, the Netherlands, and was delivered to Makkum for outfitting.

Feadship’s own De Voogt Naval Architects created Musashi’s naval architecture and exterior design. The unnamed billionaire who commissioned the yacht hired Sinot Yacht Design to handle the interiors.

Both the Exterior and Interior Design of Musashi was realised by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.

Musashi’s quadruple MTU 16V 4000 M90 marine diesel engines provide a combined 14,600 hp.

Feadship is a co-operation between two shipyards: Royal van Lent and Royal De Vries, and maritime engineering company De Voogt Naval Architects.
