Esh Build completes Environment Agency office refurbishment in Leeds
Durham-based Esh Construction has completed the refurbishment of the office of the Environment Agency in Leeds centre at the cost of £1.6 million ($2.48 million).
As per the contract, 4000 square metres of the Lateral Building at 8 City Walk in Leeds has been refurbished. The work was carried out as part of a rationalisation of the Civil Estate following the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review.
Led by ID:SR, the interior design of the new office laid more emphasis on how the Environment Agency could inhabit less space with more work stye options. The refurbishment involved a comprehensive fit out by providing new layouts and finishes. It includes the creation of a new entrance to the building and a full M&E refit.
The Environment Agency is consolidating 600 staff into the Lateral Building and releasing three other buildings.
