Eggpicnic début new chair
Chile-based design firm Eggpicnic has launched a new chair called Amalia Chair.
The new Amalia chair is a handmade chair, which has dimensions of 80cm X 80cm X 65cm. The chair has been made using a local Chilean material called mimbre. The chair has been created by hand weaving of mimbre, a practice which is 160 years old.
The chair is a creation of design duo Christopher Macaluso and Camila De Gregorio, in association with mimbre artisans Francisco Palma and Mario Rojas. The natural color of the chair adds to its beauty and the space where it is placed. The chair is an apt addition for both contemporary and traditional décor homes.
