DSU breaks ground on new Edward H. and Idonna E. Snow Science Centre
Dixie State College (DSU) of Utah in the US has broken ground on the new Edward H. and Idonna E. Snow Science Centre.
The new structure will tie into the current Val A. Browning Library building. The building will feature the college's physical science department labs spanning a total area of 10,000 square feet over two floors. The upper level of the building will house an organic chemistry lab, general chemistry lab, along with a chemical stockroom and storage room. The same floor can be accessed from the parking space in the northern portion with a tall clearstory entrance and small study space.
The lower storey of the new facility will incorporate a chemistry analytical lab, geology lab, and chemistry instrument lab. It will tie into the main level as accessed from the southern part. Among the other features of the lower floor include stock room, weighing room, oven room, and a geology storage room.
