Dimplex delivers on EC-Eau Cylinders
Dimplex now offers an improved delivery service on its popular EC-Eau range of unvented cylinders, minimising merchants’ stock requirements – and helping installers get on with the job.
Available on all 31 models in the extensive EC-Eau cylinder range, the new 48 hour service means that orders placed on Day One are delivered on Day Three. The short lead time means merchants can offer a cylinder for every installation without having to stock every model, while installers get fast, convenient access to exactly the product they want. Andie Morris, national sales manager for water heating at Dimplex, says: “In the current economic climate, we understand that it’s extremely difficult to predict demand from one week to the next, and we know that offering greater flexibility on delivery will help make life simpler for both the small installer and our merchant partners. We hope that our new service will ease the pressure on both time and finances.” The EC-Eau range of water cylinders provides mains pressure hot water from renewable or conventional sources for fast filling baths and powerful showers, without the need for a cold water storage tank. It includes models ranging from 100 litres to 300 litres, covering conventional indirect and direct cylinders, solar thermal indirect and direct models, heat pump cylinders and integral heat pump and buffer tank units. The range has been developed for minimal environmental impact and is manufactured from 60 percent recycled materials. The design includes a number of features for maximum energy efficiency, such as 60mm of CFC-free foam injected insulation for excellent heat retention. Clever touches like recessed immersion heater and thermostat housings also help to minimise heat loss and boost efficiency, while a hardwearing black outer shell consisting of 100 percent recycled materials means the cylinders stay looking good during transport and installation. EC-Eau cylinders are supplied with expansion vessel and all necessary safety equipment required by governing legislation. All models feature a 100 percent recyclable inner vessel with a 25 year guarantee, manufactured from premium grade duplex stainless steel for a cylinder with low maintenance and long life.
