Devonport Yachts completes 96m VAVA II super-yacht

UK-based yacht builder Devonport Yachts has completed the construction of the 96-metre VAVA II super-yacht worth £100 million ($158.34 million).

The vessel, donning six decks, is the largest private yacht built in the UK. Its exterior has been styled by Redman Whiteley Dixon while its interior portion has been designed by Rémi Tessier. The in-house team of the yard has served as the naval architect. The guest rooms of the yacht have a combined capacity to house a maximum of 36.

Among the various other features of the megayacht are a helipad, a spacious fold-down beach club, and a variable depth swimming pool. The look of the steel-built vessel is complemented by an aluminium superstructure. In addition, it is built to SOLAS-36 specifications.
