Desert Valley Hospital opens new heart centre
Desert Valley Hospital in California, US has opened its new Heart Centre.
The new facility has expanded the hospital by 50,000 square feet. It features an open-heart surgery suite to facilitate bypass surgeries and other life saving procedures. It also sports a digital X-ray imaging system, operating suites, a nuclear medicine camera, as well as a pair of cardiac catheterizations labs.
The new property incorporates 53 medical and surgical beds, along with an intensive and coronary care wing with a capacity of 12 beds. Among the various other features of the centre include two operating rooms, 12-pre-post procedure cath lab beds, four pre-op surgery beds, chapel, two large lobby areas, and waiting spaces.
