De Castelli introduces Mastro work table

Italian furniture firm De Castelli has launched the Mastro work table.

The design of the table has been conceived by Italian studio Gum Design. The table is characterised by its unique structure which is reminiscent of the old work tables evident in a craftsman’s workshop. The item comprises a top surface made of acid-etched iron sheet, and a pair of firwood trestles.

The top surface of the table can be folded over to create slotted rails to contain the firwood trestles. The legs of the furniture piece have been built to slide out with ease, rotate 90 degrees, and be positioned horizontally inside the metal body to serve as a table. The table possesses dimensions of 80cm x 160cm x 75cm.
