David Cameron visits Laidlaw Interiors Group stand at the Big 5 exhibition in Dubai


Laidlaw were honoured to be visited at the Big 5 Exhibition yesterday morning by David Cameron who is on a short visit to UAE promoting British industry.


Visiting the exhibition as part of his three day tour of the Middle East, Mr. Cameron stepped on to the Laidlaw Interiors Group (LIG) stand to meet the team from LIG and speak to John Jefferies.

CEO John Jefferies showed him the company's integrated doors, ironmongery and partitions offering, explained about the UK manufacturing base and how international business is a key part of the company's strategy.

Commenting on the visit, John Jefferies said, “We’re delighted that Mr. Cameron visited our stand at Big 5. It adds some real kudos to the LIG brand and its services whilst we are at the show.”

“Our story of growth was fitting to his remit of promoting British manufacturing abroad. The famous front door at Number 10 is actually one of our Longden doors, so we were even able to have a chat about that!”
