Courtyard by Marriott in Kentucky completes makeover
Courtyard by Marriott at 3990 Olympic Blvd in Erlanger, Kentucky, US has completed extensive upgrades.
The project has transformed the lobby area of the hotel which now sports an open-plan and bright look with use of shades like blue, green, orange, and red. The traditional front desk of the lobby has now been substituted with welcome pedestals to boost guest and staff interaction. The space also comprises other seating facilities such as a communal table, more private media booths fitted with HDTVs, and a more intimate semi-enclosed lounge space.
An unique feature of the upgraded lobby is the GoBoard technology with a 52-inch LCD touch screen. It offers information on varied topics including weather, business and sports headlines, and direction of local landmarks. The refurbished lobby also provides free Wi-Fi access and features plenty of electrical outlets to power digital devices.
The property now houses an enlarged business library with several complimentary computer terminals, a free printer and separate computer stations for printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status. The overhauled hotel also features The Market, and The Bistro - Eat. Drink. Connect donning casual, flexible seating arrangements.
In addition, the hotel now comprises receptacles for paper, glass, plastic and metal by side exits.
