Corna Kokosing breaks ground on $31 million Bob Evans HQ
US-based Corna Kokosing Construction Company has broken ground on $31 million New Bob Evans headquarters in New Albany, Ohio.
The project is a mix of traditional and futuristic design. Rooting to tradition, the new campus will be spread over 40 acres of farmland and would be built as a modern version of a barn building. The project aims to raise the bar in terms of environmental friendliness.
The company aspires to create headquarters that will earn Gold LEED Certification from the US Green Building Council and a sustainable building that will cost less to operate. The headquarters' rural setting also reflects Bob Evans' humble beginnings in Rio Grande, Ohio.
The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2013.
