Cordish Company opens new $500 million casino in Maryland
Cordish Company, a US-based real estate company, has opened the new $500 million Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills mall in Arundel Mills County, Hanover, in the US state of Maryland.
The Maryland Live! Casino sprawls over a 12-acre site in the county. It has been constructed by a joint venture of Commercial Interiors and TN Ward (CI/TNW JV). The casino consists of approximately 300,000 gross square feet of Casino Gaming Floor, Restaurants and Back of House Space.
The casino also has an eight-storey Precast Parking Garage. The construction of the entire casino was undertaken in two phases, with completion planned for October. The casino floor will feature 4750 latest slot machines and electronic table games. It also has large plasma screens.
The casino has several popular restaurants, namely Bobby's Burger Palace, The Cheesecake Factory, Phillips Seafood, Noodles and R Bar.
