Coral Products launches new antimicrobial kitchen caddies
Merseyside-based Coral Products plc has launched an antimicrobial food recycling bin, which will provide healthy food storage option as well as encourage the use of food caddies in the home.
The kitchen caddies are created by incorporating SteriTouch universal masterbatch into the virgin polymers used at Coral Products’ injection moulding facility.
The caddies are made with antimicrobial protection, which claims to resist odour and staining associated with bacterial and mould growth, whilst also remaining effective against illness-causing bacteria such as E.Coli and Salmonella.
Antimicrobial masterbatch from SteriTouch can be incorporated during the standard moulding process. As an inherent part of the end product, the additive also claims to make it non-resistant to wear and tear.
