Construction underway for new senior housing project in Milford
Construction is underway for a new elderly housing complex in Milford, US which is designed by the A&E Group.
Designed to provide an affordable as well as comfortable housing, the new senior housing scheme offers a 24-unit, elderly apartment scheme for the senior citizens of Milford. Upon completion, the building will have 22, one-bedroom and two, two bedroom units. Four of the apartments will be fully handicap accessible. Low income seniors will be able to live with rent set at 30% of their income.
In addition to that, solar energy will be used to generate power for the common areas of the building.
Design-Build construction company Trade Eastern Inc. is the contractor for the project. Ground was broken for the senior housing project on 2 November 2012.
