Construction Specialties completes Pennsylvania office renovation
Construction Specialties (C/S), a manufacturer of high-performing architectural products, has opened its newly renovated office space at its manufacturing facility in Hughesville, Pennsylvania, US.
The project is the first LEED certified project in Lycoming County. The company has rebuilt the former warehouse of the factory and has added 8748 square feet of space to create a space that incorporates a communal atmosphere and preserves the open industrial feel of the original warehouse.
The project has been designed by Hiller Albert Design Group. The company also engaged the services of Environmental Acoustics Incorporated for noise abatement, which will add to the acoustic comfort for office staff in shared work areas.
The project has recycled 97% of construction demolition debris. Several parameters required for attaining LEED certification including sustainable sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, materials and resources, indoor environmental quality and innovation in design have been adhered to.
