Columbus Yachts to launch 40m Hybrid super-yacht
Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts is due to launch the 40-metre Columbus Sport 130’ Hybrid super-yacht.
The interior of the tri-deck vessel has been styled by Hot Labs whereas its naval architecture has been done by Hydro Tec. The yacht will sport an owner’s suite and three guest cabins which will have a combined capacity to house a maximum of eight guests. Teak, sycamore, greyed durmast marble, polished stainless steel, and leather will be extensively used throughout the yacht's interior.
The super-yacht will be entirely constructed in aluminium and will comply by MCA and Rina Class specifications. It is expected to operate at a maximum speed of 7.5 knots. The vessel is scheduled for delivery by August 2013.
