Codecasa to complete first 50m open super-yacht hull C 120 in 2013


Italian shipyard Codecasa is due to complete its first 50-metre open super-yacht hull C 120 by 2013.


The bottom and external lines of the vessel have been designed by Prof. Andrea Bacigalupo while its interior have been styled by architects Anna Maria and Franco Della Role, in association with the owner's personal architect. The super-yacht will sport an owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, a double bed guest cabin, and three twin bed cabins. It will also comprise separate accommodation for its crew members in one Captain’s cabin, and four twin bed cabins.

The hull and superstructure of the yacht will be made in aluminium. It will be powered by 3 MTU engines which is slated to offer it a maximum speed of about 28 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Its range is expected to be 1,000 nautical miles at cruising speed.
