Clariant breaks ground on new HQ in Texas
Texas-based Clariant Oil & Mining Services has broken ground on a new global headquarters for its Oil & Mining Services business unit in the Woodlands, Texas.
The new campus will expand the company's presence in the master-planned community and energy hub located 30 miles north of Houston.
The new headquarters will include two, 32,000 square feet two-storied building, which will contain offices for both the global business unit and North American operations; the global and regional oil services technical centre; a regional mining technical centre; and an employee training facility.
Housed in Black Forest Technology Park, the new headquarters is being constructed to meet the growing needs, and will allow Clariant to double the workforce in the Woodlands by 2015.
The campus is slated to be complete by the fall of 2013.
