Christmas Tree Décor: London Christmas tree designs 2017
St Pancras’ ‘Blooming’ Christmas Tree

Delighting commuters, Londoners and tourists alike, St Pancras International is renowned for revealing unique Christmas trees, year after year – previously, collaborators have even included Disney Junior and LEGO. For 2017, the international train station has unveiled a hand-crafted, 47 foot floral creation, designed by St Pancras’ very own luxury florist, Moyses Stevens.

The ‘blooming’ Moyses Stevens St Pancras International Christmas flower tree (to give the tree its full name) took over 1,151 expert man hours to bring to life. The unique design features over 15,000 flowers interlaced with the tree’s branches; the colourful blooms include delicate, carefully positioned roses, hydrangeas, anemones, amaryllis, orchids and dianthus.

If this wasn’t enough, the beautiful Christmas tree also has petals and pine cones strung around it, as a twist on the traditional Christmas lights. “We were thrilled to be given the responsibility to create this year’s show-stopping spectacle,” Gemma Kavanagh from Moyses Stevens florist said. “We hope our creation will help fuel the trend for floral Christmas trees, inspiring even more people to enjoy having flowers in their home this winter.”
