Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced plans to open three new hotels - Radisson Blu Plaza Wuxi, Radisson Blu Chengdu East and Radisson Blu Wuhan ETD Zone - in China.

Radisson Blu Plaza Wuxi is being developed within a 42-storey building in the prime district of Xishan. The hotel will offer 300 guestrooms and is slated to open in the third quarter of 2014.

Radisson Blu Chengdu East is being developed in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. The hotel will be built in the Media Plaza, a mixed-use development in the 339 metre tall SC Tower. The hotel will offer 242-guestrooms and is expected to open in April 2014.

Radisson Blu Wuhan ETD Zone is being developed at the centre of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei. The hotels portfolio consist of 348-rooms overlooking the Hou Guan Lake. The rooms consist of 325 guestrooms and 23 suites. The hotel is expected to open in June 2014 and would be the first Carlson Rezidor hotel in the city.
