Camira Fabrics launches new fabric into the commercial market
Camira Fabrics has announced the commercial launch of its binary fabric, originally designed for the BBC’s MediaCity headquarters in Salford.
The fabric was designed in collaboration with Leeds Metropolitan University design graduate Miriam Trent who won the BBC Design Challenge competition to create a bespoke fabric for the corporation's new headquarters.
The binary-themed fabric uses 0s and 1s in a large-scale pattern repeat and was designed by Trent to reflect the digital age. The fabric is woven in Camira's worsted wool and is available in nine colourways.
