Australian designer Brad Stebbing has designed the new curvy Samba collection of lights for the design practice HIVE.

Depicting a dancing posture, the new Samba light collection is made using the traditional Vietnamese process of rattan rod coiling to create a real visual aesthetic. Rattan rods are used in place of bamboo strips to bring fluidity to the creation.

Featuring a smoother exterior and ribbed on interior look, the Samba collection is available in various playful colours to match different interior designs.

The collection will be launched at Maison & Objet being held from 7-11 September 2012 in Paris, and will also be available locally through KE-ZU.
