Bethan Gray to exhibit G&T collection at designjunction
UK-based Bethan Gray will exhibit an updated range of her G&T collection at designjunction in London from 18-23 September 2012.
The tactile and uncomplicated combination of natural materials in pure, rounded forms gives an informal elegance to the G&T Collection. The collection’s design and development is focused on nurturing skilled and motivated manufacturers.
At designjunction in September, the Brogue table will be launched in an exquisite white leather coffee and side table. The Brogue collection is a range of unique leather topped tables with solid wood bases, featuring an intricate wax thread brogue finished with a hand stitched detail. Traditionally used in shoe production, brogueing is an instantly recognisable detail. The tables are produced using high quality top grain leather, which has been treated to give a highly durable finish. The table will age gradually to develop its own individual personality and become a future heirloom.
As part of the G&T capsule collection, Bethan will also showcase the Carve marble topped side and coffee tables. The Carve table was created from a study of the traditional three-legged Cricket table, found throughout mining villages in Wales as a solution to uneven slate floors. The natural character of the marble top lends a unique surface pattern to each table. When combined with a variety of wood options, this creates a range of products with their own distinct story, feel and personality.
