Benjamin Hubert introduces Juliet chair
London designer Benjamin Hubert has launched the Juliet chair.
The design of the chair is reminiscent of the Italian Renaissance fashion detail of the Juliet sleeve. The sleeve adorns its arm with its shoulder comprising a large deconstructed puff. The piece incorporates a fluted traditional timber framework while being covered in leather. The tight leather cladding is stretched over the chair's base to reveal the shape of the timber frame underneath it.
The look of the furniture is accentuated by a tri-pleated spacious sitting space in leather offering a soft and loose look. The sitting area has a wide screen space which enables users to rest in various positions.
