Benjamin Hubert creates Garment chair for Cappellini
Italian firm Cappellini has come up with the new Garment chair.
The design of the item has been conceived by London designer Benjamin Hubert. It marks the first collaboration between the designer and Cappellini. The seat of the chair is made of moulded polyurethane foam and is clad with a single piece of fabric.
The seat cover is fixed loosely to the furniture with Velcro without use of stitching. The absence of stitching allows the cover to be removed with ease as per one's requirements. The furniture is detailed with inverted box pleats. The design of the cover makes it visually soft. Garment measures 700mm in width, 740mm in height, and 600mm in depth.
The chair has been showcased at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile held in Italy.
