Bellagio to embark on $40 million guestroom renovation project
Bellagio, a luxury resort in Las Vegas, Nevada has announced a plan to remodel all rooms and suites in the resort's Spa Tower, which is likely to entail an investment of $40 million.
Designed by MGM Resorts International Design Group, the project involves remodelling of all 819 guest rooms and 109 suites. The suites at the Spa Tower consist of 850-square-foot Salon Suites, 1,000-square-foot Bellagio Suites, 1,500-square-foot Penthouses, 1,900-square-foot two-bedroom Bellagio Suites, and 4,000-square-foot Chairman and Presidential suites.
As part of the project, Bellagio will also add three new Executive Hospitality Suites, which will feature latest entertainment and technologically advanced elements. The suites will span an area of 2,500-square-feet and will include a billiards lounge and separate home theatre living area.
The guestrooms will boast new exquisite designs and layouts, which will be in sync with the contemporary ambiance of the entire resort. The renovation scheme at the Spa Tower will resonate the three design patterns followed at the main tower of the resort. These include a combination of indigo and silver or green tea, and plum palettes for the Resort King Rooms; and a combination of amber and butterscotch motif for the Resort Queen Rooms.
Construction on the scheme is scheduled to begin on 19 August 2012 and is expected to be completed by December 2012.
