BCA Architects wins renovation contract for LBCC building in California
US-based architectural practice BCA Architects has secured a contract from Long Beach City College (LBCC) for the renovation of its Health and Technology Department building in Long Beach, California.
Scope of work involves renovation of the three-storey Building C in the Nursing and Health Technology building. The project will modernize all the enclosed areas of the building, which together span over an area of 23,250 square feet.
The purpose of the renovation is to modernize the 1969-built building and bring it to the current day standards. The project will make the existing space more usable and deliver a 21st Century Learning Environment, which will match the requirements of the Nursing and Health Technology program.
The renovation of the Building C is scheduled for a wrap-up by the end of 2014.
