BCA Architects completes 21st Century Classroom in San Jose
San Jose-based BCA Architects has completed the construction of a fully functional 21st Century Classroom at its office in San Jose, California which has been designed to provide an innovative learning environment.
Focusing on the promotion of collaboration, communication, and the shift to the "Common Core", the 21st Century Demonstration Classroom has been designed to provide a learning environment through sustainable and cost-effective designs.
Providing educators a unique perspective on the necessary components which are needed to be implemented by the school sites such as CCSS and SMARTer Balance Assessment, the 21st Century Classroom includes an interactive projector, interactive white board and LED touch screen TV.
Additionally, to create a modern learning environment, it also includes multiple interactive tablets, flexible furniture, an amplified sound system, soft seating and other amenities.
