Bath Ales offers accommodation at Wellington pub
British brewery Bath Ales has started offering accommodation after a refurbishment of its Wellington Pub in Bristol, designed by Simple Simon Design.
The design brief from Bath Ales required creation of accommodation which is broadly traditional in style with a gently contemporary ambience, particularly in terms of overall style, colour and lighting. In response to the brief, Simple Simon Design has created a smart and comfortable ‘home away from home.’
Featuring eight boutique-style bedrooms, the Wellington pub currently offers king-size guest bedrooms at the old pub, which has replaced former three bedrooms and a small staff flat above the main trade floor. The bedrooms are loaded with features, normally associated with four-star rated hotels such as private, modern bathroom with shower, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. The interiors of the guestrooms is a continuation of the bar area's décor exuding traditional charm paired with contemporary specification.
All the guestrooms have different colour palettes. The rooms have peg-rail, which not only serves as an alternative for wardrobe, but also adds a traditional character to the décor.
