Azimut Yachts and Atlantis to showcase three yachts at Boot 2013
Azimut Yachts and Atlantis will showcase three new yachts for the season to the North European public at the Boot 2013 exhibition in Düsseldorf, including Azimut 54, Magellano 43 HT and Atlantis 34.
Azimut Magellano 43 HT and the Atlantis 34 are the smallest-sized models from the Azimut Yachts and Atlantis. They are conspicuous for their ability to replicate the style and design concept of the larger models in their respective collections, but with smaller dimensions. Both have also been nominated for the Powerboat of the Year 2013 (EPY 2013) award that will be announced at the Boot 2013 show. Also appearing will be the medium-size Azimut 54 flybridge, which has been improved in terms of style innovation and liveability.
Magellano 43 HT is a 13m yacht which offers all the advantages of Magellano collection. The new Magellano 43 HT is the first model in the Magellano collection with a hard top rather than a fly top, making it suitable for inland sailing, due also to its lower height and folding mast, which allow it to sail under most fixed bridges on rivers and canals. The four windows on the hard top, two of which can be opened, make open air sailing a real pleasure.
The dual mode hull, with its round lined keel with side runners and a spacious bow section that ends with a vertical prow, reduces pitching. It is also more efficient and consumes less fuel at low and medium speeds compared to a planning hull. The living area on the Magellano has a spacious entertaining area as well as the owner’s controls. Besides two cabins for owner and guests, both en-suite with separate shower, a third cabin can be set up with a single bed or used as storage space.
In the Azimut 54, the layout of the main bridge has been redesigned to allow a more practical use of the lounge and dinette. The lower deck features three cabins and two bathrooms with huge ceiling height. The owner’s cabin is a genuine suite with large side windows that offer views, also making it ideal for day use. A VIP cabin is featured at the bow with a double cabin round off the sleeping area with a bathroom exclusively for the master cabin.
Atlantis 34 is totally new project designed to be both an open yacht and an excellent cruiser at the same time. The exterior design is the result of collaboration between Atlantis and Neo Design. It features sufficient space to accommodate four beds with a 1.95 m high double cabin in the centre, and a large sofa/dinette area that can be converted into a double bed. On the exterior, the swim platform is like a private 2.5 square metre little beach which can also house a tender up to 2.5 m long. The six-seater table in the outside living area can be turned into a sunbathing area, and the roof is equipped with a manual soft top.
Azimut Yachts and Atlantis will be showcased at the Boot 2013 show in Düsseldorf from 19- 27 January at stand 6D27 in Hall 06.
