Arthouse Design to develop wayfinding system for Golisano Children's Hospital

Denver-based graphic design studio Arthouse Design has been chosen to develop a wayfinding system, environmental graphics and building signage program for the Golisano Children's Hospital in New York.

Located within the campus of the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, the four-storied, 240,975 square feet Golisano Children's Hospital will receive a consistent identity with a new wayfinding system that appeals both to children and adults, and hospital donor signage.

As part of this project, the Arthouse Design team along with Ballinger Architects and the University of Rochester Medical Center, will work together to develop an overall theme for the new children's hospital building. A consistent identity will be created for Golisano Children's Hospital within the context of the overall Strong Memorial Hospital Campus.

To help parents and staffs navigate the building, an appealing wayfinding signage system will be developed. Apart from that an exterior building signage and hospital donor signage will also be created.
