Archstone begins construction on multi-family scheme in California
Archstone, a US-based apartment investment and operations major, has begun construction on Archstone Berkeley on Addison, a multi-family scheme in Berkeley, California.
The project involves development of a 94-unit apartment community at the corner of Third and Addison, in close proximity to the Berkeley Marina and the San Francisco Bay. The residential units will be a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes.
The residential units will be marked by a modern aesthetic that resonates the industrial theme of the area. The homes will have an upscale feel and will feature luxury plank flooring in the living and dining area, stainless steel appliances, European-style cabinets, and gas ranges. The kitchens and bathrooms will feature quartz countertops.
The amenities for the residents include roof deck, a D’tails Pet Salon, an open-air fitness centre with modern equipment and second-floor private terraces facing an interior courtyard. The Roof deck will feature lounge chairs and stainless steel barbeque grills and offer views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay, and the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge.
