Ann Taylor to introduce new prototype store in Chicago
New York-based retailer Ann Taylor is set to launch a new prototype store at 600 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, US.
The store will substitute the existing 10,400 square feet Ann Taylor store at the same location. The new facility will cover an area of 5400 square feet and will be situated in the southern end of the same structure. Its design will replicate a contemporary residential unit featuring whitewashed maple floors, crystal chandeliers, as well as tufted furniture pieces.
Merchandise will be reshuffled into career, casual, and accessories zone. The facility will also sport a private lounge space which will be equipped with a large touchscreen TV. The TV will allow access to the website of the brand. Another feature of the new store is the installation of backlit mirrors in the fitting rooms.
