American Club Resort in Wisconsin completes renovation

US-based Kohler Company Hospitality & Real Estate Group has completed renovation of The American Club Resort Hotel in Kohler, Wisconsin.

The redesigning of the guest rooms was aimed at combining various diverse elements to create a striking ensemble. These elements include rich colored draperies and elegant furnishings, highlighted by the use of dark wood. The style of furnishing within the guest rooms, which is a combination of different kinds of furniture with purposely mismatched finishes, gives a hint of collector's cozy home.

Each guest room now has a high-definition flat screen televisions, unique over-bed lighting, white Frette bedding with deep red bolster pillow and throw, wireless internet and iPod docking stations. Select rooms have in-bathroom televisions as well.

Each room features photos and information about a famous American, while its door features a plaque with the signature of its icon. Other elements of guest room renovation include upgrades to the plumbing and change of tiles. These have been picked from large portfolio of Kohler's products as well as other brands, such as Kallista, Baker, Mark David, McGuire and Ann Sacks.

The project revolved around incorporation of Kohler's plumbing and interiors products, which has added to the luxury of the hotel. The bathrooms showcase select Kohler products which enhances the bathing experience of the guests. These products include the KOHLER Flipside showerhead, Ambient Rain, VibrAcoustic bath, WaterTiles and innovative ADA-compliant Elevance rising wall bath. The bathrooms have been done up in an earthly palette highlighted by accent tiles and artistic elements.

One of the four rooms named in honor of a Kohler family member, includes Ruth DeYoung Kohler room, also the Eau de Vie Suite that means Water of Life in French. The name of the suite is synonymous with its offerings, which include an en-suite bath featuring several customized showering elements. These elements include six different spa options delivered by a combination of water, sound, lights and steam. The bath also has an exquisite sok overflowing bathtub with chromatherapy fills from the ceiling, which together give an extraordinary visual delight to the guests.

Another guest room built in honor of Ruth DeYoung Kohle features a glass enclosed fireplace in the middle, as well as rose etchings. The common areas of the resort, which include the lobby and library, have received new carpeting, which mimics the original pattern of the hotel's carpet.
