Alessandro Busana creates new CUTLINE furniture line
Italian designer Alessandro Busana, in association with the Smooth Plane team has come up with the new CUTLINE furniture range.
The new collection is made of wood donning a light gray shade and incorporates a minimalistic style. The line includes a table, coffee table, high storage, medium storage, as well as low storage units. All the items of the range are characterised by a radical cut which exposes the natural grain of the piece.
The cut adds to the uniqueness of the furniture by exposing some of its parts and concealing some which facilitates storage of different types of objects. The objects to be showcased are kept on the visible parts whereas the ones to be hidden are kept in the other compartments. The Cutline Table does the function of a large desk and sports a spacious lateral drawer with pressure opening and hydraulic closing.
