Albed introduces Line day system
Italian firm Albed has launched the Line day system.
The system, designed by Daniele lo Scalzo Moscheri, incorporates a modular style. It is adaptable and ideal for living spaces. The company has introduced a new model of the bookcase in the Salone del Mobile furniture fair 2012. The new version sports a vertical design and new configurations with varied shapes and functions, such as the low sideboard.
The bookcase now measures 120cm in width, and is taller. The design makes it suitable to be placed in small rooms and niches. The low sideboard comprises a set of drawers in the middle to offer storage space. The design of the sideboard facilitates its installation in entrance rooms and helps it double up as a contemporary footboard or practical bench.
Albed has also showcased other new products in the event. They include suspended features which enable users to build their own furnished wall, a shelf with an audio system, and back panel equipped into the supporting structure to hold a TV.
