Hong Kong-based Aedas Interiors has been commissioned to design the Hard Rock Hotel in Abu Dhabi, which will be the brand’s first hotel in the Middle East region.

Located on Abu Dhabi’s Al Meena Road, the 46-storey luxury hotel will include a two-tier lobby with the top floor accommodating lounges, function rooms and a grand ballroom. In addition to 378 guestrooms, the hotel will also feature restaurants including the Hard Rock Cafe, hookah lounge, a 37th-floor Sky Bar with swimming pool, Rock Spa, spacious meeting facilities, function space, and fitness centre and entertainment facilities.

The project will be designed and managed out of the Aedas Interiors office in Dubai led by Interior Design Director, Fergus Duncan, along with knowledge input from Aedas’ international interiors teams.

Construction of the hotel will start soon and is expected to complete by the fourth quarter of 2015.

The Hard rock Hotel is a development by Aabar Properties, a subsidiary of Aabar Investments PJS, based in Abu Dhabi.
