Aedas Interiors designs food venues at Radisson Blu Liuzhou
Aedas Interiors has designed the newly opened Scoozi Italian Restaurant and Twenty-six Bar Lounge at the Radisson Blu Liuzhou hotel in China.
Aedas Interiors has designed a 9,000 square feet restaurant and bar lounge at Radisson Blu in such a manner that the entire 26th floor features a different look and feel from the rest of the hotel. The design has blended sophisticated luxury with a hint of drama.
The project features a dimmed elevator lobby which is complete with back-lit abacus-inspired panels. Grand velvet curtains reveal a sky-lit atrium lobby waiting area, with the space lined on either side by full length wine displays, accentuating the double-volume high space.
A beaded tent dropped from the atrium skylight ceiling is anchored by chandeliers hanging over a four-poster day bed with throw cushions in a central Bedouin setting. The entrances on opposite sides of the atrium lobby space leads to Scoozi Restaurant or Twenty-Six Bar.
Abundant natural light infiltrates the dining rooms of Scoozi Restaurant during the day. The space transforms into a warm and cosy setting in the night. Aedas Interiors have incorporated pale staturio stone flooring, contrasted by distinct areas of dark wood plank floors, which extends sleek whiteness through the restaurant.
The colour palette for Scoozi has been lightened to accentuate the bright and fresh dining room setting. The hotel showcases the gold-leaf picture-less frames which hang over velvet curtain-lined walls. Select window ledges are adorned with wooden art frames, mirroring the gold-leaf frames scattered throughout the restaurant.
Twenty-Six bar lounge features a palette containing royal blue, dark timber and carpet flooring. There are backlit gold-leaf art frames decorating the velvet curtain-lined walls, mirroring those in Scoozi. Few frame flat screen televisions are featured throughout the bar area. The lounge is furnished with armchairs, plush seating and cushions, dimly lit by the soft glow of the candle-light fireplace and the back-lit onyx bar.
