A grand approach to railing systems

This May, for the first time, consumers and self-builders who attend Grand Designs Live, the UK’s leading contemporary home show, will be able to experience the high quality and endless design possibilities of Q-railing’s premium railing systems.

From spiral staircases to floating treads, balconies and landings to walkways and swimming pool rails, Q-railing’s high design railing systems add style to any location. Plus, because their systems are completely modular, elements from any of Q-railing’s product lines can be combined to create the exact look that the property owner desires. Sophisticated and warm or industrial and edgy…round or square…with the transparency of glass or the sleek look of metal…Q-railing offers all this and much more. The market leader in design railing systems for indoor and outdoor use, Q-railing has previously only dealt directly with the trade. The Grand Designs Live event will mark the first time that the company has presented its products in an exhibition designed for consumers. “We have found that most consumers want a full supply and fit service,” explains Martyn Eveleigh, Sales & Marketing Manager, “which is why Q-railing has taken such care in building a network of recommended installers that we trust to provide the same high level of quality and standard of service that we represent. These recommended installers visit the customer, learn about the vision for the project, take measurements, create designs and drawings, and then fit and install the chosen products.” Covering the entire country between them, recommended installers Aveyron Ltd, Newbalcony, RailingLondon and WM Ironwork are available to undertake any project, from a small residential staircase to extensive construction builds such as colleges, apartment blocks and private sector offices. These organisations will be presenting both themselves and the Q-railing product lines to visitors at Stand B214 at the Grand Designs Live show. Now in its eighth consecutive year, Grand Designs Live was founded from the hugely successful Channel 4 TV programme. Popular with self-builders, architects and interior designers, the show runs over nine days in London’s Excel exhibition hall from May 5 to 13, 2012.
