HI-MACS® facades, an architectural spectacle
HI-MACS® transforms the facades of buildings into sculptures. The ability to mould the Solid Surface, combined with its incredible resistance to fire, time and weathering, makes it possible to mill, engrave and create amazing designs, as well as allowing spectacular light effects.
HI-MACS® in the Alpine White S728 shade is the first Solid Surface material on the market to have obtained the ETA (European Technical Approval) certification for external facades; while the advanced HI-MACS® UV+ S828 formula, also for facade applications, has earned the French QB and CSTB ATec (Technical Appraisal) certification.
Geometric and sculptural
Designed by Conarch Architects, this majestic building in New Delhi (India) catches the eye with its extraordinary HI-MACS® façade which, thanks to its unique composition of geometric shapes, creates a sculptural and dramatic effect.
Light and shadow projections
Three large HI-MACS® sunshades, designed by KAZÉHANA & TUILLIÈRE, protect the façade of this private residence in Royan (France). The sliding screens are characterised by graphic inlays reproducing the shape of the sun and moon, creating fascinating plays of light and shadow.
